Venue Health & Safety Guidelines
We’re back in action, and we can’t wait to cheer with you at York Lions Stadium.
The health and safety of our fans, athletes, and team members is our number one priority. We have worked closely with provincial and local health officials to responsibly and thoughtfully implement new safety protocols to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience. While it may be a bit different from the last time you joined us, we look forward to giving you a reason to cheer and creating unforgettable memories with you once again.
Please note that the York Lions Stadium ticketing manifest will open seating inventory capacity per Ontario Step 3 regulations (currently 75% for outdoor seated sections).
Here’s what to expect when you visit. Keep an eye on this page and our social media channels (@TorontoArrows) as guidelines are subject to change.
Proof of Vaccination Required
In accordance with the Province of Ontario’s mandatory COVID-19 policy, all fans in attendance at York Lions Stadium will be required to show proof of full vaccination (at least two weeks after the final dose) upon entry. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test will not be accepted for admittance, except for guests with a verified medical exemption.
Proof is considered the physical paper record or a digital PDF or photo image or screenshot from provincial health body with corresponding proof of identification in the form of a valid ID card (e.g. driver’s licence or passport). Details on how to download proof of full vaccination is available here. The Toronto Arrows will not record or keep any personal health information or vaccine information.
Unvaccinated fans with a valid medical restriction will be required to provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test – either a negative PCR or POC molecular diagnostic or COVID-19 antigen screening test – taken within 48 hours of arriving at the venue, prior to entering the venue.
Children who are 11 years of age and younger will be exempted from these requirements.
In addition, the Toronto Arrows will require all staff and event personnel to provide documentation of full vaccination as the organization works with government and public health officials to provide the safest operation possible for its employees, fans and for the community at large.
Please find the approved list of vaccines here.
COVID-19 Mandatory Patron Self Screening
All guests must self-screen before entering the premises. All fans must complete a self-screening assessment prior to entering York Lions Stadium that has been developed in accordance with recommendations and instructions issued by the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health and mandated from Toronto Public Health.

Face Coverings Required
Following Step 3 protocols from the Ontario Government, a three-ply mask that completely and snugly covers your nose, mouth and sits securely under your chin are mandatory at all times, including when sitting in the stands, unless when eating or drinking.
Enhanced Cleaning Procedures
Enhanced protocols have been instituted throughout the entire venue. All high-touch areas, including seats, handrails, concessions stands, washrooms, and merchandise stands, will be regularly disinfected.
Additional sanitizer kiosks/stands will be readily available in high-touch areas throughout the venue.
Please maintain a physical distance of six feet (two metres) when possible, including in queues inside and outside of the venue.
York Lions Stadium is a fully cash-free venue that only accepts debit and credit cards, including major contactless and mobile payment methods, for a safe and speedy check out.
All tickets for Toronto Arrows events will be delivered digitally and will be scanned from fans’ mobile devices at the venue to maintain a contactless fan experience.
The Toronto Arrows will track all fans that enter the stadium and track where they are seated in the stadium for contact tracing purposes.
Small personal bags, including purses, fanny packs or belt bags or smaller will be permitted into the venue upon visual inspection. Larger bags, including backpacks, will not be permitted.
Clear bags are strongly encouraged for expedited entry to the venue.
Important Items to Know Before You Arrive
Retail: Retail kiosks will be open throughout York Lions Stadium for fans with standard screen protocols in place before fans can enter. To support reduced fan movement around the facility, multiple retail kiosks will be available for fans across the stadium.
Food & Beverage: Concessions will be 100% cashless. Purchases will be made using tap with VISA, MasterCard and Debit.
Concourse Movement: Fans will be encouraged to remain in their designated section throughout the game, unless using the washroom, purchasing concessions, or visiting the fan zone.
Elevator Access: Access to public elevators will be reserved for accessibility needs only. Caregivers or fans attending the game with the person will also be permitted to use the elevator.
Exiting the Stadium: Fans will be directed to four exits. When exiting seats for concessions or washrooms, or following the game, fans will be instructed to wait for aisles to clear and follow the instructions provided by ushers to avoid congestion and maintain physical distancing.
No In & Out Privileges: Upon entry into York Lions Stadium, fans will be asked to immediately head to their seats unless they are requiring use of the washrooms. Fans will be encouraged to avoid standing in groups on the concourse. No in and out privileges will be granted.
Washrooms: Washrooms will be operated with reduced capacity – each washroom will have its own capacity based on its size/configuration. All pinch points within washrooms will be eliminated to allow for a comfortable flow of traffic. Dedicated washrooms will be available for each seating area.
Sanitizer Stations: There will be sanitizer stations throughout the facility in areas that do not already have a hand sanitizer unit installed (specifically upon gate entry), making hand sanitizer readily available throughout the entire venue.
First Aid: If fans in the stadium begin to feel ill, they should find help immediately. York Lions Stadium’s on-site medical team will be fully prepared to help and will have personal protective equipment. First aid will be available on the south side of the venue.
Cleaning & Disinfecting Protocols: To reduce the risk of transmission, additional sanitizer kiosks/stands will be installed throughout York Lions Stadium. Staff will regularly clean all high-touch surfaces with antibacterial spray and wipes.
Protect, Detect & Training: If you think you might have come into contact with someone who is COVID-positive or you feel unwell and demonstrate symptoms of COVID-19, self-isolate and get tested. If we can detect the presence of the virus, it can help us and local health authorities fight the pandemic.
Thank you for doing your part by following all our new health and safety procedures. Let’s continue to keep each other healthy as we navigate through this reopening process as responsibly as we can.
