Venue Health & Safety Guidelines - Starlight Stadium
We’re back in action, and we can’t wait to cheer with you at Starlight Stadium in Langford, British Columbia on Feb. 11, 2022.
With the health and safety of our spectators, athletes, and team staff serving as our top priority, our match will meet all provincial and regional guidelines. We have worked closely with provincial and local health officials to responsibly and thoughtfully implement safety protocols to provide you with a safe and enjoyable experience.
Here’s what to expect when you visit. Keep an eye on this page and our social media channels (@TorontoArrows) as guidelines are subject to change.
Proof of Vaccination Required
Proof of double vaccination against COVID-19 will be checked upon entry at the gates by security and event staff. In order to gain entry into the stadium, all individuals 12 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated (14 days after the second dose) and must show proof of vaccination through the use of a QR code with corresponding proof of identification in the form of a valid government-issued identification card (e.g. driver’s licence or passport). Details on how to download proof of full vaccination is available here. The Toronto Arrows will not record or keep any personal health information or vaccine information.
Unvaccinated fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium regardless of medical exemption. Children who are 11 years of age and younger will be exempted from these requirements.
In addition, the Toronto Arrows will require all staff and event personnel to provide documentation of full vaccination as the organization works with government and public health officials to provide the safest operation possible for its employees, fans and for the community at large.
Please find the Government of Canada-approved list of COVID-19 vaccines here.
COVID-19 Mandatory Patron Self Screening
All guests must self-screen before entering the premises. All fans must complete a self-screening assessment prior to entering Starlight Stadium that has been developed in accordance with recommendations and instructions issued by British Columbia’s Ministry of Health and the BCCDC.
Click here to complete the self-assessment.
Face Coverings Required
While in the outdoor areas of the stadium, fans are not required to wear masks by government regulation as it is outdoor; however, masks are strongly recommended and encouraged.
When fans are accessing the limited enclosed areas of the site (such as washroom facilities), proper masking (covering the nose and mouth and under the chin) will be required.
Signs will be posted at all points where masks will be required, and extra masks will be made available for fans to access these areas of the venue. Masks will also be encouraged at high-traffic points throughout the venue.
Enhanced Cleaning Procedures
Enhanced protocols have been instituted throughout the entire venue. All high-touch areas, including seats, handrails, concessions stands, washrooms, and merchandise stands, will be regularly disinfected.
Physical Distancing
Please maintain a physical distance of six feet (two metres) when possible, including in queues inside and outside of the venue.
Mobile Ticketing
All tickets for Toronto Arrows events will be delivered digitally and will be scanned from fans’ mobile devices via the AXS mobile app at the venue to maintain a contactless fan experience.
For security reasons, screenshots and printing mobile tickets are not available and tickets can only be accessed through the AXS App.
The Toronto Arrows will track all fans that enter the stadium and track where they are seated in the stadium for contact tracing purposes.
Important Items to Know Before You Arrive
Concourse Movement: Fans will be encouraged to remain in their designated section throughout the game, unless using the washroom or purchasing concessions.
No In & Out Privileges: Upon entry into Starlight Stadium, fans will be asked to immediately head to their seats unless they are requiring use of the washrooms. Fans will be encouraged to avoid standing in groups on the concourse. No in and out privileges will be granted.
First Aid: If fans in the stadium begin to feel ill, they should find help immediately. Starlight Stadium’s on-site medical team will be fully prepared to help and will have personal protective equipment.
Cleaning & Disinfecting Protocols: Staff will regularly clean all high-touch surfaces with antibacterial spray and wipes.
Protect, Detect & Training: If you think you might have come into contact with someone who is COVID-positive or you feel unwell and demonstrate symptoms of COVID-19, self-isolate and get tested. If we can detect the presence of the virus, it can help us and local health authorities fight the pandemic.
