Jack McRogers
McRogers, 24, is returning to the Arrows for a sixth campaign after featuring in 40 matches (11 starts) for the club since its inaugural season in 2019.
The five-foot-eleven, 235-pound forward has posted 720 carry metres on 137 carries, 234 tackles (92.1% completion) and 11 defenders beaten over his five years with the team. His nine tries rank fifth on the organization’s all-time try-scoring leaderboard (second among forwards), while his 40 appearances are the eighth-highest match tally in club history.
McRogers earned his first cap for Canada in July 2022, coming off the bench against Spain to score a memorable debut try in Ottawa. The hooker also represented Canada at two World Rugby Under-20 Trophy tournaments, first as an under-ager in 2017, and again in 2018.
Arrow #38 is a graduate of the Ontario Blues junior men’s provincial program and the McMaster Marauders post-secondary program.
McRogers played his grassroots rugby with the Aurora Barbarians and has remained closely involved with the club, where he currently serves as its senior men’s team’s head coach.
