Guiseppe du Toit
Du Toit, 26, returns to the Arrows for a fourth season having featured in 24 matches (23 starts) for the club since 2019, marking the fourth-highest total among backs in team history.
The centre produced 1,051 carry metres on 153 carries, 11 tackle breaks, 10 linebreaks, six offloads, and a breakdown steal over his three years with the club, while also adding three tries and two kicked conversions. He’s also completed 237 tackles (85.6% completion) over his two-dozen matches, holding the club-high total for backs.
The 6’, 210lb back has collected 14 caps for Canada since making his international debut against Chile in February 2017, including featuring at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. He also represented the Canada under-20s in 2015.
Du Toit is a graduate of the British Columbia Bears senior men’s provincial program and Rugby Canada’s Pacific Pride national development program. He played his grassroots rugby with the Ridge Meadows Bruins, the University of Victoria Vikes, and the Trinity Western University Spartans.
The Canadian international captained the Arrows during the final three games of the 2021 season, becoming just the fifth player in club history to lead the team out for a senior match.
