
Toronto Arrows Complete Trade with San Diego Legion
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Arrows announced today that the organization has completed a transaction with the San Diego Legion ahead of the 2022 Major League Rugby season.
The club has acquired salary cap considerations from the Legion in exchange for the rights to prop Patrick Lynott and scrum-half Jason Higgins.
Lynott (Arrow #31) spent his first three seasons in MLR with the Arrows, appearing in a total of 27 matches between 2019 and 2021.
Higgins (Arrow #50) competed in his first MLR campaign in 2021, featuring in 13 matches and scoring four tries for the Arrows.
“We’d like to thank Pat and Jason for their efforts with our organization, particularly in a very tough 2021 season spent abroad,” said Mark Winokur, Toronto Arrows Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. “We wish them all the best in their new setting.”
