Toronto Arrows to #RuckCancer in ‘Rugby vs Cancer’ Match on May 26

TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce that the club will #RuckCancer during its match against the Glendale Raptors on May 26.

As part of the club’s partnership with the Ontario-based charity Rugby vs Cancer, the Arrows will wear special-edition #RuckCancer home jerseys for the upcoming fixture at Lamport Stadium (2 p.m. kickoff).

The game-worn jerseys will be autographed by Arrows players and auctioned off following the match. Bids will be accepted throughout the match and at the post-game social, with all raised funds going towards the Canadian Cancer Society and its goal of finding a cure for cancer in our lifetime.

The auction for the autographed jerseys will be completed at the post-game social at Williams Landing.

The Arrows (9-5-0) enter the match on a five-game winning streak, and are coming off a 28-21 win over Utah on May 12. Toronto sits third in the league standings with 48 points, and is looking to bolster its playoff chances against the sixth-place Raptors (7-4-2).
