
Toronto Arrows Announce Return of Francis & Parfrey for 2020

TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce two additional signings ahead of the 2020 Major League Rugby season.
The following players have re-signed with the club:
Kolby Francis
Hometown: Brantford, Ont.
Position: No. 8
Age: 22
- Made 14 appearances (578 minutes)
- Scored five tries (ranked third on team)
- Ran for 282 metres carried
- Completed 68 tackles
- Earned a 80.9% tackle completion rate
Patrick Parfrey
Hometown: St. John’s, N.L.
Position: Fly-half / Centre / Fullback
Age: 28
- Made six appearances (239 minutes)
- Ran for 166 metres carried
- Completed 21 tackles
- Earned a 87.5% tackle completion rate
- Completed five offloads
“We’re excited to have Kolby and Pat returning for the upcoming season,” said Arrows Vice President and General Manager Mark Winokur. “Kolby is a talented young player with size and speed, and is someone we are working to develop as a Canadian prospect. Pat was Canada’s breakout player of the Rugby World Cup, having several top-class performances against the best teams in the world. He may not be fully available until later on in the year, but we look forward to having his talent – and dry wit – back in the room with us.”
Toronto has now signed 35 players ahead of the club’s sophomore Major League Rugby campaign.
