Toronto Arrows Announce Hemingway’s Restaurant & Bar as Official 2020 Watch Party Location
24 January 2020
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce that Hemingway’s Restaurant & Bar has joined the club as its Official Watch Party Location for the 2020 Major League Rugby season.
Located in the heart of Yorkville, Hemingway’s has been a Toronto bar institution for the past 40 years. Boasting three different bars, four patios, more than 24 beers on draught, a lengthy calendar of social events, and a tradition of warm New Zealand hospitality, the iconic restaurant is a lively and must-experience location in downtown Toronto.
As the club’s Official Watch Party Location, Hemingway’s will showcase each of the Arrows’ 2020 away games with full audio, creating an enticing atmosphere for all Arrows fans wanting to experience a gameday atmosphere while the club is on the road.
Official Watch Parties will feature non-travelling Arrows players and staff to host the viewing party and participate in game analysis and Q&A sessions at halftime. There will also be exclusive giveaways and food and drink specials available for Arrows fans, as well as official Arrows merchandise available for purchase.
All Arrows home matches will also be shown across Hemingway’s screens.
Bill Webb, President and General Partner of the Toronto Arrows, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with Hemingway’s to create a dynamic atmosphere for our fans to enjoy Toronto Arrows matches together while our team plays on the road. We believe this partnership further solidifies Hemingway’s as the preeminent bar in the city to watch rugby. Not only will Hemingway’s carry a full slate of Toronto Arrows away games, but the establishment also supports rugby competitions across the globe – including the Six Nations Championship and the 2020 autumn internationals. We encourage all our fans to enjoy the great atmosphere that Hemingway’s creates as they support our team on the road.”
Thanks to everyone who came out to @HemingwaysTO at the crack of dawn for this morning's #RWC2019 clash!

Arrows Rugby and their fan base complement everything we’ve been doing with our Rugby offering and we’re excited to showcase their games with our clientele.”
The Arrows will begin their second campaign in North America’s top-flight professional rugby league with a road match against the Austin Herd on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020. Following seven consecutive matches played away from Toronto, the club will play seven of its final nine matches at home between April 4 and May 31 to close out its sophomore MLR regular season.
