
Three Arrows Named to 2021 All-MLR Teams

Three Arrows have been included in Major League Rugby’s All-MLR team selections for the 2021 season.
Arrows co-captains Lucas Rumball and Ben LeSage were named to the league’s 1st XV, while Tomas de la Vega was chosen for the 2nd XV.
Over his 13 matches in 2021, Lucas Rumball ranked 1st across the league in breakdown steals (22; next closest had 13), 1st in defensive ruck arrivals (124), 7th in tackles (156), 8th in attacking ruck arrivals (242), and 16th in carries (124).
Over his 13 matches in 2021, Ben LeSage ranked 5th across the league in linebreaks (14), 8th in offloads (14), 20th in dominant tackles (6), and 26th in tries (5).
Over his 14 matches in 2021, Tomas de la Vega ranked 2nd across the league in defensive ruck arrivals (113), 3rd in breakdown steals (10), 4th in carries (151), 5th in tackles (177), 6th in lineout takes (65), 9th in lineout steals (6), and 11th in attacking ruck arrivals (239).

DALLAS (August 9, 2021) – Today Major League Rugby (MLR) officially announced its All-MLR team selections for the 2021 season. Additional end-of-season awards, including Player of the Year, Forward and Back of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year, are to be announced by MLR throughout the week.
The top 30 players throughout the season were selected to make up the first and second All-MLR teams. The selections were voted on by a group made up of MLR media, referees, and stats specialists.
