Toronto Arrows Announce Signing of Canada-Eligible Scrum-Half Bell
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LANGFORD, BC – The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce the signing of Canada-eligible scrum-half Chris Bell.
Bell, 24, arrives at the club after recently graduating from Cambridge University, where he spent four seasons featuring for the flagship institution’s first team.
A product of youth programs at both London Scottish and Wasps, Bell went on to earn more than 50 caps for Cambridge. He competed in three Varsity Matches between 2017 and 2019; the 2017 edition pitted Bell against former Arrows captain and Oxford graduate Dan Moor, and in 2019 he was named Man of the Match.
The five-foot-nine, 170-pound scrum-half was also selected for the England Student Sevens side in 2019.
Most recently, Bell has featured for National League 1 side Blackheath.
Bell is designated as a domestic player through his Canadian eligibility, as his father was born in Montreal.
