For Immediate Release
TORONTO, ON – With initial roster assembly well underway ahead of the 2022 Major League Rugby season, the Toronto Arrows Rugby Football Club is pleased to share its first group of players to sign for next year’s campaign.
The club is excited to announce that Guiseppe du Toit, Ronan Foley, Cole Keith, Will Kelly, and Andrew Quattrin are all returning for the 2022 season.
Guiseppe du Toit
Centre | Maple Ridge, British Columbia
Arrow #28
Du Toit, 26, returns to the Arrows for a fourth season having featured in 24 matches (23 starts) for the club since 2019, marking the fourth-highest total among backs in team history.
The centre produced 1,051 carry metres on 153 carries, 11 tackle breaks, 10 linebreaks, six offloads, and a breakdown steal over his three years with the club, while also adding three tries and two kicked conversions. He’s also completed 237 tackles (85.6% completion) over his two-dozen matches, holding the club-high total for backs.

The Canadian international captained the Arrows during the final three games of the 2021 season, becoming just the fifth player in club history to lead the team out for a senior match.
Ronan Foley
No. 8 / Flanker | Dublin, Ireland

Awarded the Club Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season in 2017-2018, Foley captained UCD in the club’s pandemic-shortened 2020-2021 campaign.
The 6’2”, 230lb forward represented Ireland at the 2018 Six Nations Under 20s Championship, has featured for Leinster ‘A’, and earned one cap with Leinster’s senior side in 2019.

The 6’, 240lb forward has won 18 caps for Canada, including featuring at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. He is also the seventh-youngest player to be capped for Canada (19y, 280d against Chile on Feb. 11, 2017).
Keith represented the Canada under-20s in 2017, and played his grassroots rugby with the Belleisle Rovers.
Will Kelly
Fly-half | Ancaster, Ontario
Arrow #47
Kelly, 24, has made 11 appearances (five starts) for the Arrows over his two seasons with the club, with nine of those contests coming in the 2021 season.
The fly-half has kicked for 16 points (five conversions, two penalty goals), run for 158 carry metres on 28 carries, completed 26 tackles, and made 28 kicks in play (861 metres).
The 6’3”, 215lb back is a full Canadian international (1 cap), earning his Canada debut at the 2019 Americas Rugby Championship. He also represented the Canada under-20s in 2017.
Kelly is a graduate of the Ontario Blues senior men’s provincial program, Rugby Canada’s Pacific Pride national development program, and the McMaster Marauders post-secondary program. He played his grassroots rugby with the Brantford Harlequins.
Andrew Quattrin
Hooker | Holland Landing, Ontario
Arrow #3
Quattrin, 25, returns to the Arrows for a fourth season having featured in 32 matches (28 starts) for the club since 2019, marking the second-highest appearance total in club history.
The durable forward has made 271 tackles (89.7% completion), 13 dominant tackles, six tackle breaks, four breakdown steals, three linebreaks and one try throughout his three seasons with the team. His 801 carry metres on 182 carries is the team-high tally among front row players.

Quattrin is a graduate of the Ontario Blues senior men’s provincial program and the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks post-secondary program, and played his grassroots rugby with the Aurora Barbarians.
“We are very excited to have Guiseppe, Ronan, Cole, Will, and Andrew back in blue and white for the upcoming Major League Rugby season,” said Mark Winokur, Toronto Arrows Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. “All five are quality players and quality people, and all are fully committed to getting us back on track as we play games in our home city of Toronto for the first time in three years.”
