Match 1
Ontario East vs. Ontario West
Senior Women’s Match
York Lions Stadium
11:30AM Kickoff
This match, featuring top women’s players from across Ontario in an exciting intra-provincial clash, holds special significance: it’s the first game in a series of regional women’s competitions taking place across Canada from April to June, and will be a key part of the selection process to form the rosters for Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team and Canada’s Women’s U23 Team later this year.
Ontario East will be coached by Sean Dunleavy, while Ontario West will be helmed by Colette McAuley.
There is no charge to attend this match; fans can enter York Lions Stadium through Gate 1 (north side). At the conclusion of this game, fans will need exit York Lions Stadium to allow for facility staff to prepare for the Senior Team game later in the day.
Ontario East and Ontario West rosters will be announced later this week.
Match 2
Arrows Academy vs. Atlantic Selects
York University Alumni Stadium
1PM Kickoff
Following last week’s Academy season opener against Quebec, the Young Arrows are right back at it on Sunday afternoon when they welcome the Atlantic Selects to York University.
The match, which will be played at Alumni Stadium (a short walk from York Lions Stadium), will see the Arrows Academy program face a Selects side that features players from all four Atlantic provinces. It’s the first of two fixtures scheduled for the two sides this year, with Sunday’s game serving as a precursor to the Coast to Coast Cup clash set to be played in Halifax in June.
There is no charge to attend this match.
The Atlantic Selects have announced their 23-man squad for Sunday’s clash; the Arrows Academy roster will be announced later this week.
Match 3
Toronto Arrows vs. Seattle Seawolves
York Lions Stadium
4PM Kickoff
Sunday’s triple-header will conclude with the Senior Team’s home tilt against Seattle. The Arrows hold a 3-2 all-time record against the Seawolves in regular season play, and were victorious over the Washington outfit in the lone match played in Toronto; Sunday’s fixture marks the first time Seattle will travel to Ontario since 2019.
To celebrate the club’s young fans this Sunday, the Arrows are offering a special Young Guns ticket at half-price for anyone 18 years old and under. The half-price tickets can be found in any section of the stadium, but are strictly for those under the age of 18.
There are plenty of exciting activities planned including some special kids merchandise, and a face paint artist in the Garden from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., so make sure you arrive early for your opportunity to get painted up!
For anyone who purchases our Young Guns ticket, we will be offering a Young Guns Pack, which will be available for collection in the Garden prior to kickoff. The pack will include an autograph poster, a certificate and an Arrows lanyard.
The cross-conference clash at York Lions Stadium will kick off at 4 p.m. ET. Tickets are available for purchase via AXS, with single game seats starting as low as $20 / $10 for youth.
