Lineups Announced for Ontario East vs. Ontario West Senior Women’s Clash

The first match of Sunday’s triple-header at York University features top women’s players from across Ontario in an exciting intra-provincial clash at York Lions Stadium.

The match, which is set to kick off at 11:30AM, holds special significance: it’s the first game in a series of regional women’s competitions taking place across Canada from April to June, and will be a key part of the selection process to form the rosters for Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team and Canada’s Women’s U23 Team later this year.

Ontario East will be coached by Sean Dunleavy, while Ontario West will be helmed by Colette McAuley.

There is no charge to attend this match; fans can enter York Lions Stadium through Gate 1 (north side). At the conclusion of this game, fans will need exit York Lions Stadium to allow for facility staff to prepare for the Senior Team game later in the day.
