FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON – Toronto Arrows Head Coach Peter Smith has named his starting lineup for Sunday’s home clash against the Seattle Seawolves.
The tight five will see Isaac Salmon return from injury to slot in at tighthead prop, while the versatile Lolani Faleiva slides across the front row to the loosehead role. Shay Kerry retains his starting position, but will move into the engine room after starting last week at the back of the pack.
Mitch Eadie also returns to the starting lineup, filling the gap at No. 8.
There’s just one alteration across the backs, with Kobe Faust drawing in at fullback.
The bench features recent signee Tyler Wong, who is in contention to make his Arrows debut, as well as Tyler Rowland, who is back to full fitness.
The Arrows hold a 3-2 all-time record against the Seawolves in regular season play, and were victorious over the Washington outfit in the lone match played in Toronto; Sunday’s fixture marks the first time Seattle will travel to Ontario since 2019.
Sunday’s game will kick off at 4 p.m. ET from York Lions Stadium, with tickets starting at $20 / $10 for youth. The Senior Team’s match marks the third and final game of a triple-header being played at York University throughout the day; Sunday will start with a senior women’s clash between Ontario East and Ontario West at 11:30 a.m., followed by an Academy tilt between the Arrows Academy and the Atlantic Selects at 1 p.m.
The cross-conference clash will be shown on TSN2, TSN.ca, and the TSN app for Canadian audiences, and will be available on The Rugby Network for American and international audiences. Additional broadcast details.
