
Toronto Arrows Announce Lineup for Fire and Ice Cup

MARIETTA, GA – Toronto Arrows Director of Rugby Chris Silverthorn has named his starting lineup for tomorrow’s Fire and Ice Cup clash with Rugby ATL.
Sixteen Canadians have been included in Toronto’s 23-man lineup, including an all-Canadian bench.
Thirteen full internationals have been named to the Arrows’ matchday squad, carrying a combined cap total of 335 matches.
Squad Notes:
- Adams is ranked 1st in MLR in points scored (68), 4th in kicks (47), 7th in kicking metres (1330)
- de le Vega is ranked 1st in MLR in successful tackles (106), 3rd in defensive ruck arrivals (46), 4th in lineout takes (27), 8th in attacking ruck arrivals (116), 9th in carries (61)
- Diana is ranked 1st in MLR in carries (94), 2nd in tackle breaks (28), 3rd in offloads (9), 4th in running metres (549)
- LeSage is ranked 1st in MLR in offloads (12), 8th in linebreaks (7)
- Rumball is ranked 1st in MLR in breakdown steals (17), 1st in defensive ruck arrivals (67), 2nd in successful tackles (96), 4th in attacking ruck arrivals (122), 8th in carries (63)
- Tuculet is ranked 3rd in MLR in offloads (9)
- Montero is ranked 4th in MLR in tries scored (6), 5th in linebreaks (9), 6th in running metres (513)
- Keith is ranked 5th in MLR in attacking ruck arrivals (119)
- Seven squad members are full Canadian internationals: Keith (16 caps), Kelly (1 cap), LeSage (16 caps), Parfrey (32 caps), Quattrin (5 caps), Rumball (35 caps), Sheppard (11 caps)
- Three squad members are full Argentinian internationals: Cortes (5 caps), de la Vega (12 caps), Montero (27 caps)
- Three squad members are full Uruguayan internationals: Diana (27 caps), Leivas (76 caps), Mieres (72 caps)
Tomorrow’s match marks the third league meeting between Toronto and Atlanta; the Arrows were victorious in the 2020 fixture, while Rugby ATL won in Week 1 of the 2021 season.
Well-rested Atlanta (3-3; 16 points) is coming off a bye week, while Toronto (3-4; 16 points) is looking to rebound after last week’s defeat in New Orleans.
Saturday’s game will kick off at 7 p.m. ET. The Eastern Conference tilt will stream on TSN.ca and the TSN App for Canadian audiences, and will be available on The Rugby Network for American and international audiences. Full broadcast details can be found here.
