
Toronto Arrows Announce Lineup for NOLA Clash

METAIRIE, LA – Toronto Arrows Director of Rugby Chris Silverthorn has named his starting lineup for tomorrow’s away clash with NOLA Gold.
Fifteen Canadians have been included in Toronto’s 23-man lineup, with Flesch and Quattrin both returning to the starting 15.
Fourteen full internationals have been named to the Arrows’ matchday squad, carrying a combined cap total of 398 matches.
Squad Notes:
- Adams is ranked 1st in MLR in points scored (64), 6th in kicks (38), 7th in kicking metres (1016)
- de le Vega is ranked 1st in MLR in successful tackles (89), 6th in defensive ruck arrivals (34), 7th in attacking ruck arrivals (104), 8th in lineout takes (23), 10th in offloads (5)
- Diana is ranked 1st in MLR in carries (84), 2nd in running metres (513), 3rd in tackle breaks (25), 6th in offloads (7)
- LeSage is ranked 1st in MLR in offloads (12), 6th in linebreaks (7)
- Rumball is ranked 1st in MLR in breakdown steals (16), 2nd in defensive ruck arrivals (56), 3rd in successful tackles (81), 5th in attacking ruck arrivals (111), 9th in carries (55)
- Tuculet is ranked 3rd in MLR in offloads (9)
- Higgins and Montero are ranked 7th in MLR in tries scored (4)
- Seven squad members are full Canadian internationals: Ciulini (8 caps), Keith (16 caps), LeSage (16 caps), Parfrey (32 caps), Quattrin (5 caps), Rumball (35 caps), Sheppard (11 caps)
- Four squad members are full Argentinian internationals: Cortes (5 caps), de la Vega (12 caps), Montero (27 caps), Tuculet (56 caps)
- Three squad members are full Uruguayan internationals: Diana (27 caps), Leivas (76 caps), Mieres (72 caps)
Tomorrow’s match marks the third league meeting between Toronto and New Orleans; NOLA defeated the Arrows twice in 2019, both by margins of five points or fewer.
New Orleans (2-2-1; 15 points) is coming off a 38-28 away loss to Rugby ATL, while Toronto (3-3; 16 points) is fresh off a 53-12 road victory over RUNY.
Sunday’s game will kick off at 1 p.m. ET. The Eastern Conference tilt will air on TSN2 and stream on TSN.ca and the TSN App for Canadian audiences, and will be available on The Rugby Network for American and international audiences. Full broadcast details can be found here.
