
Toronto Arrows Announce Lineup for Seattle Clash

MARIETTA, GA – Toronto Arrows Director of Rugby Chris Silverthorn has named his starting lineup for tomorrow’s ‘home’ clash with the Seattle Seawolves in Atlanta.
Fifteen Canadians have been included in Toronto’s 23-man lineup, including 21-year-old debutant Mason Flesch at lock.
The fully-fit Spencer Jones has been named to the bench, with the centre primed to make his first appearance for the club since the 2019 MLR semi-final (June 9, 2019) – a gap of 678 days.
Thirteen full internationals have been named to the Arrows’ matchday squad, carrying a combined cap total of 387 matches.

- Rumball is ranked 1st in MLR in breakdown steals (10), 1st in defensive ruck arrivals (39), 4th in successful tackles (56), 9th in attacking ruck arrivals (72)
- Diana is ranked 1st in MLR in carries (52), 6th in offloads (5)
- LeSage is ranked 2nd in MLR in offloads (9), 8th in linebreaks (4)
- Adams is ranked 3th in MLR in points scored (35), 7th in kicks (23), 8th in kicking metres (733)
- de le Vega is ranked 3rd in MLR in successful tackles (59), 6th in defensive ruck arrivals (24)
- Wadden is ranked 4th in MLR in attacking ruck arrivals (79)
- Quattrin is ranked 4th in MLR in defensive ruck arrivals (24)
- Tuculet is ranked 6th in MLR in offloads (5)
- Six squad members are full Canadian internationals: Ciulini (8 caps), Keith (16 caps), LeSage (16 caps), Parfrey (32 caps), Quattrin (5 caps), Rumball (35 caps)
- Four squad members are full Argentinian internationals: Cortes (5 caps), de la Vega (12 caps), Montero (27 caps), Tuculet (56 caps)
- Three squad members are full Uruguayan internationals: Diana (27 caps), Leivas (76 caps), Mieres (72 caps)
Tomorrow’s match marks the fifth league meeting between Toronto and Seattle, with the Arrows claiming a 39-17 victory in the two sides’ lone 2020 game. The Seawolves (1-2; 6 points) are coming off a 20-15 win over Utah, while Toronto (1-3; 6 points) is looking to rebound following a 43-16 loss to Los Angeles.
Saturday’s game will kick off at 10:30 a.m. ET. The cross-conference tilt will air on TSN2 and stream on TSN.ca and the TSN App for Canadian audiences, and will be available on The Rugby Network for American and international audiences. Full broadcast details can be found here.
