FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Arrows are pleased to announce a partnership with Honey Bee Meals for the 2022 Major League Rugby season. The local partnership will see the Toronto-based Honey Bee Meals provide high-quality, nutritious, hand-prepared meals to the club’s senior team, helping Canada’s lone professional rugby team reach its peak performance.
“The Arrows are thrilled to partner with Honey Bee Meals for our 2022 Major League Rugby Season,” said Rahul Srinivasan, Toronto Arrows Director of Partnerships. “We are looking forward to Honey Bee Meals’ unique menu of hand-crafted meal options to power our players throughout the year. Honey Bee truly stands out as a leader in the meal preparation space with their rotating menu, meal plan options and excellent delivery service. The Arrows are also very proud to partner with a dynamic female-led business in the local Greater Toronto Area, a key priority for the organization.”
Honey Bee Meals is a Toronto-based meal delivery service that offers fully-prepared, hand-crafted meals made with nutritious ingredients. Its team crafts and delivers a tasty, healthy menu of meals that are free of gluten, dairy, nuts, soy and refined sugar.
Founder, Amy Sherman — a certified Holistic & Sports Nutritionist, CrossFit-L2 trainer and former NCAA athlete — began Honey Bee Meals in December 2015. What started back then in her parent’s kitchen has now grown into one of the top meal delivery options in the Greater Toronto Area. Through her own health trials, she realized the power of real food and brought these principles to her own kitchen and life.
“We are so excited to be cooking for the Toronto Arrows this season,” said Amy Sherman, Founder, Honey Bee Meals. “Since we started preparing and delivering meals back in 2015, Honey Bee Meals has always been viewed as a nutritional tool to help reach health and wellness goals for our customers, so working with professional athletes is a natural progression. Our ongoing mission is to make eating well stress-free and delicious, which we look forward to delivering on for the Toronto Arrows this season.”
The Arrows will begin their fourth campaign in North America’s top-flight professional rugby league with a road match against the Seattle Seawolves on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022.
