An Open Letter to Toronto Arrows Fans
9 April 2019
Dear Toronto Arrows fans,
First off, thank you, thank you, thank you! It was a truly humbling experience to come out of the locker room this past Sunday and see a full stadium of 3,081 fans for our home opener at York Alumni Stadium. The entire Arrows organization were absolutely blown away by your support! Having a Major League Rugby team in Toronto is a massive opportunity for Canadian rugby and we truly appreciate that you’re helping make it a success.
Although we didn’t get the on-field result we so desperately wanted to give you, we are hard at work to ensure we get that 1 or 2 per cent increased performance for our next home game on Sunday. We also greatly appreciate fan feedback we’ve received, and are working with our suppliers to make sure we provide an even better game day experience for you next week.
We hope to see you all Sunday afternoon. We encourage you to arrive early at the venue and buy discounted advance tickets online at www.torontoarrows.com. Gates open at 1 p.m. ET and we’ll have non-dressing players on-hand to help you find a seat, chat with you about the team and help make sure it’s a great day for you. Game time is 2 p.m. ET against the Austin Elite, and we expect another tough, fast and exciting contest.
Thanks again for your support! #ArrowsUp
Yours in rugby,
Bill Webb
