Arrows Announce Senior Academy Squad for 2023 Coast to Coast Cup
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TORONTO, ON – Toronto Arrows Academy Director and Head Coach Cory Hector has named his 25-man squad set to participate in the upcoming Coast to Coast Cup.
The travelling squad features representation from 11 different Canadian post-secondary institutions and 16 different Canadian grassroots clubs.
“Our squad is very much looking forward to the second version of the Coast to Coast Cup, and the build-up has been excellent,” said Hector. “Through our previous matches, we’ve been able to see and evaluate a number of talented players and select from a wide playing group. We feel the group we have selected show great potential and all will be looking to compete against some of the very best from each side of the country.”
The Senior Academy will open the second edition of the Halifax-based tournament on Wednesday, June 21 with a clash against the British Columbia Bears, before facing the host side Atlantic Selects three days later on Saturday, June 24.
Both Senior Academy matches will be played at Wanderers Grounds.
All matches from the tournament will be streamed live, for free, on The Rugby Network.
The Senior Academy has played three matches in advance of the Coast to Coast Cup; the Young Arrows started their 2023 campaign with a pair of home games against Quebec Senior Men and the Atlantic Selects in May before taking a trip to Laval for the return clash with Quebec earlier this month.
